Celebrate Veteran's Day with a brisk-paced 44-mile route -- our 7th year hosting this ride. Let's muster in the Woodland Park lower parking lot (near the soccer fields) at 0945 for the pre-ride brief and make sure everyone is ship shape, then underway at four bells (that's 1000 for you non-Navy cyclists). The route will take us north through Montlake Terrace towards Everett, then return via Edmonds. Our goal will be to stay together as best we can, regrouping at the top of the bigger hills. It's November, so full fenders greatly appreciated if the roads are wet. We'll stop at Walnut Street Coffee for a cuppa Joe (free for Vets today) at mile 32. We will also limit speed to 15mph on multi-use paths so we don't create too much wake for other users. Hope you can join us. Vets: wear your service jersey!

Please note: During COVID-19 Phases 1.5 and 2, all Free Group Rides are limited to six total participants: the Ride Leader and five others. Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another.

Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.  Restrooms available at the start.
