Come join us for a steady Sunday ride out to Alki, for coffee and company. We'll start at the picnic table at the south end of the Starfire Sports soccer fields, next to the Green River. Following introductions and a safety brief, we will ride a VERY flat 30 miles on a mix of trails and streets. Our route is the classic out and back, with the Alki Starbucks our midpoint stop. On the way, we'll have a chance to enjoy the view of the Seattle skyline from across the bay.
Restrooms are not available at the start. There is a porta-potty available at Cecil Moses Park, right around mile 5.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
This ride will be canceled if we are looking at steady rain. If weather conditions call for a weather cancellation, or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
