We will explore bakeries on a mid-week ride departing from Cascade Bicycle Club in Magnuson Park heading west via the BG trail to Discovery Park and Magnolia, then southeast to lower Queen Anne with a stop at bike-friendly Nielsen Pastries.  Nielsen honors Bicycle Benefits. If you have a sticker on your helmet, you get a free pastry when you buy a coffee.  You may be able to buy a Bicycle Benefits sticker there for $5.  We'll head back to Magnuson Park via Westlake cycle track.  The ride is steady paced with regroups on hills. Please bring water, a snack, and all necessary tools & tubes in case they are needed.

Comments

As of 16 March, Cascade Bicycle Club and the Rides Committee have decided to suspend Free Group Rides through the end of March and reevaluate the situation surrounding the coronavirus at that time.

Bicycling is still a great way to exercise and boost your immune system during this time of public health advisory. We encourage you to find a way to continue to ride your bike in a responsible and safe way during the upcoming weeks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these difficult times. We look forward to riding as a group again soon. Stay safe and healthy.
