Join us for St Patrick's Day exploring the lakes, parks and backroads of Sammamish! If the luck of the Irish is with us, there may even be some treats! Be sure to wear your favorite green jersey.

The Sammamish Plateau being what it is, we will have two climbs to warm us up, the first on Louis Thompson Rd and the second, on 216th Ave NE. Riders can take these at their own pace as we will regroup at the top. We will have rest stops at beautiful Pine Lake and Beaver Lake Parks. Our lunch stop will be at Sammamish Highlands with multiple dining options including Evergreens & Starbucks. If we get lucky with the weather, we will enjoy lovely mountain views.

Start location is at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead behind Whole Foods. There is a sanican but no water at the start. Water and restrooms will be available at parks along the route. Please arrive in time for safety briefing 10 minutes before start time of 10 am. Bring money for lunch at mile 24, so bring snacks to hold you over. Worsening weather conditions during the ride could amend the route.

Steady rain, frosty pavement, ice or snow will cancel. In this event, I will post a cancellation notice by 8 am on ride day in the comments section of this posting and then will not be at the start. Please be sure to check the comments section before you drive to the ride start.

If you have a Cascade account you may register online up until 8 am on ride day by clicking the register button at the top of this posting.  If your plans change you do not need to unregister.  You may also register at the ride start. Hope you can join us!
