  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE SHORTEN THE RIDE AND ELIMINATED THE LUNCH STOP.  We will have a restroom, water and food stop at Bay View State Park. You must bring your own snack or lunch.  Please check the temperatures in Mt. Vernon for Monday and dress accordingly.

Beat the traffic of the Tulip Festival and join me for a fun flat ride in Skagit County rolling past daffodil fields. Meet in Mt. Vernon at the Lions Roadside Park.  We will exit Mt Vernon along the the Skagit Riverwalk trail and continue along the dike to Conway. We will cycle through farm country crossing Fir Island on our way to Bay View State Park. Please note that there may be some minor changes in the route to include blooming daffodil fields on out way to Bay View.  Enjoy the views of Padilla Bay as we leave the park onward to Edison for a lunch stop at Mariposa Taqueria. Ride continues through Bow prior to heading south to Mt Vernon. It's a flat route, but headwinds possible.

This ride will be canceled if weather is wet. Please check three hours prior to start in comments section of this page for notification of a cancellation. Leader will not be at start if ride is canceled. 

Please be considerate of others and arrive 15 minutes prior to 10 am. Ride will start at 10 am.

I canceling this ride for tomorrow.
Considering the drive, cold morning, no indoor stops and coronavirus, it is the reasonable course to take.
