Join us for a ride from Duvall Park and Ride 16011 Main Street Just North of the bridge on a 43 mile route at moderate speed of 14-16 on paved sections.
A little bit of everything and a whole lot of fun. We start of on the paved Cherry Valley road and travel East until mile 8.3 where we enter the Markworth state forest and the road turns to gravel. We then head North through the foothills to Youngs Creek Waterfall Mile 18 where we will have a quick lunch break. At mile 20.2 we return to paved roads and descend into the valley and intersect Ben Howard Road. We follow Ben Howard West to Monroe for a bathroom break. We then head South down the West side of Snoqualmie River valley and cross the valley to the gravel Snoqualmie Valley Trail. We take the trail North the last 2.4 miles to the parking lot.
Let's meet at the Duvall Park and Ride at 9:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.
Sections of this route are not accessible to non emergency vehicles.
Restrooms are not available at the start so please plan accordingly. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 28 Monroe.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Bring 2 spare tubes and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Full fenders are encouraged but not required if the roads are wet.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Bring food and water for the entire ride.
There will be no opportunity to buy food on the route. Lunch is brown bag at Young River.
Flooding in the valley
Three portions of the route are currently closed due to flooding. I am hoping that Ben Howard road and Crescent Lake road will be open by Sunday. 124th street is also closed but we can bypass that by cutting off onto Woodinville Duvall rd. Not pleasant but an option. If flooding persists we may choose an out and back of some sort. Check Sunday morning for more info.
New Route, More Gravel, More Climbing, More Fun
Valley roads still flooded so I am rerouting a loop in the woods. 41 miles 2500' elevation. We start out the same then make a loop back form Youngs creek. Here is the new route link https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31899549
