A mostly flat social ramble in the rural Snoqualmie River Valley, with a short stop for refreshment at Starbucks in Carnation on the way back. We'll go at about 15-16 mph on the flats when there is no wind, and there will be occasional pauses for scenery and agricultural activities of note. If time, weather, and energy allow, there will also be a Neal Road out-and-back 5.6 mile bonus jaunt at the end of the ride.
As of now, there is a porta-pot but no water at the start. The next porta-pot opportunity is at Jubilee Farm/Mile 5.6, and we'll pause as needed. There will be a stop at Chinook Bend Park/Mile 11.4 (pit toilet). Restroom and water are on the return leg at Carnation/Mile 22.7. A RideWithGPS route map and cue sheet are at the Link, below. If you need a cue sheet, please print one. Electric-assist bikes welcome.
It can be a long way to Fall City. Please plan your trip to be ready to ride 10 minutes before start time so we can do the safety briefing and get on the road. Bring ID; spare tube, tools, pump, patch kit, and skills to fix flats; and a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety and comfort issue for other riders. Unless the geometry of your bike won't allow, fenders with long mudflaps are strongly recommended.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above. NOTE: I will print the ride waiver at 7 AM on ride day. It's not a problem if you decide after that time to ride but you'll need to sign in at the start.
The listed phone will not be answered on the morning of the ride and its voicemail will not be checked. If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start. High winds, cold temperatures, icing, or other severe conditions also may cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.

Flooding in the Valley
I plan to go to the ride start on Sunday, but much of the Red Barn route is under water so it will be a flood ride. That means a lot of out-and-back/"oh well, this road is closed so let's go another way" kind of riding. We'll make it up as we go along. Just sayin'.
