Join us for a 37.5 mile social ride from Wilmot Gateway Park Sports Fields to Issaquah via Lake Sammamish. This mostly flat ride will take advantage of trails along the Sammamish River and Lake Sammamish to our stop at PCC in Issaquah, with a few on-road sections. From there we will ride the East Lake Sammamish Trail / Parkway to Marymoor where we will rejoin the Sammamish River Trail. With some luck, we will see waterfowl and views of Mt Rainier.
Let's meet at the the sports fields parking Wilmot Gateway Park at 9:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a 10 am departure. Restrooms and water are available across the street from the sports fields at Wilmot Gateway Park along the trail. Allow a little extra time to fill up water bottles and use restroom. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 9 Idylwild Park, Mile 18 PCC Issaquah, Mile 28, Sammamish Landing Park. We’ll also stop for lunch at PCC in Issaquah at mile 18.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
