- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Help me ring in the new year with a Leisurely 2020 spin to Flaming Geyser State Park. This is a mostly flat ride with most of our route on the scenic green valley road. We will ride 10-12 mph on the flats and regroup as needed. We will make every effort to stay together and there may be extra stops for pictures! Please bring all tools and tubes needed to fix a flat, as well as a plan if you need a pick up. Remember to bring water and snacks. Also if you want to join for lunch after the ride, bring cash and join us at at Pho Time (See the link below).
Our start location will be at Auburn High School parking lot on Main Street. There are not any bathrooms at the start, so please come prepared. However, there are porta potty facilities a couple miles in, and we can stop there if needed. We'll also stop briefly at Flaming Geyser, so you can take in the beauty of the area, eat your snacks and use the facilities. Please be courteous to your fellow riders and arrive at least 20 minutes prior (9:40 a.m.) to the start to prepare your bike, listen to the S.M.A.R.T safety ride briefing and allow us to leave on time.
Please RSVP by clicking the red "Register Now" button above and filling out the electronic waiver form. This will save you time at the start.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
