Ride Description:

We begin with a climb up Woodinville-Duvall Road (but don't worry, you'll have lots of time to recover while waiting for me at the top).  Then onward via Fales to the West Valley Road, Ames Lake, up Union Hill, down Trilogy, and across to Education Hill.  We finish with a descent to the Sammamish River Trail and return to the start.  Riders climb and descend at their own pace.

Restrooms and water are available at the start/Mile Zero and Redmond Ridge Park/Mile 33.  We'll have the option for a short pick-me-up Starbucks pause at Mile 34, which can replace the Redmond Ridge Park stop.

A RideWithGPS route map with cue sheet is at the link.  If you want a cue sheet, please print it.  Bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats; and have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails.  If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety and comfort issue for other riders.  Unless your bike geometry won't allow, fenders with long mudflaps are very highly recommended.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page.  NOTE:  I will print the ride waiver at 7:00 AM on ride day.  It's not a problem if you decide after that time to ride but you'll need to sign in at the start.

The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride and the voicemail won't be checked.  If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criterion I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior.  High winds, cold temperatures, icing, or other severe conditions also may cancel.  Please check here before going to the start.

I got wet on Tuesday's ride and don't intend to do it again.  Today we'll have maybe 3.5 hours to ride somewhere before rain starts.  I am thinking of a loop that is less than 47 miles but should keep us dry. If that's okay, I'll see you at the Fields.
