Event Hosted By:

Sat. Sep 28, 2019 8:00am to Sun. Sep 29, 2019 6:30pm

Multiple Ride options for one day rides, gravel rides, family rides and an overnight sag supported ride, the Killer Fang

The route follows Hwy 224 east beside four nationally designated wild and scenic streams then heads south on Forest Road 46 along the Cascades backbone where the Clackamas’ threatened and endangered salmon and steelhead still spawn, then onward to Detroit, a distance of 72 miles. The routes elevation gain is 3,100 feet from Estacada and 1,900 returning from Detroit — but mostly 6 to 7% grades. After an overnight stay in a state park or lodging in Detroit, the route returns to Estacada on Sunday. The ride includes two boxed lunches, a dinner and breakfast in Detroit, and an evening meal with beverage in Estacada. A shuttle provides service between the campsite and Detroit on Saturday night.  Great Scenery, Great support and low traffic roads
