Ride Description:

Ride up the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River, with a warm-up circuit of Tokul along the way.  Great scenery and rural roads.

There are restrooms with water at the start, and pit toilets/no water at the Middle Fork Trailhead turn-around point/Mile 25.  We can stop at the North Bend QFC/Mile 10 to top up water bottles on the outbound leg.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can get yourself ready, sign the waiver, and listen to the S.M.A.R.T. briefing. This allows us to have an on-time departure.

A Ride With GPS route map and cue sheet are at the link.  If you want a cue sheet, please print one.  Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and have a phone and a plan for rescue should your bike fail.  Note that cell coverage in the Middle Fork valley can be spotty.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page.  I will print the waiver at 7 AM on ride day.  If you decide to come after that time, you can sign in on the waiver before we start.

The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride.  If the weather meets the showers-cancel threshold, I will post a cancellation notice in the Comments block below at least two hours prior and not go to the start.

The weather forecast is holding steady for rain or showers until after 10 AM, with chances of precip at 25 percent past noon.  Not conditions suitable for starting or riding this route.  Regrets.

I guess I was the only one that didn't read the comments section and showed up at centennial park this morning. Oops. Turned out well since I did the ride myself anyway. Cloudy, no rain. Might I suggest also saying Canceled in the ride title like the Woodinville on wheels does today, if it's not too difficult and has no disadvantages. That showed up in calendar view too.

Best wishes! See you on the next one!

Glad you made a day of it.  About cancellations--ride leaders can cancel by adding a Comment but can't edit the ride or title after it is published on the calendar.  The "cancelled" notice on today's moderate-pace WoW ride title happened because the leader had to bow out a couple of days prior and requested a cancellation.  A night-before or same-day cancellation doesn't allow time for such a request to be executed.  So checking the Comments is always a good idea.
