A mostly rural ride out of Marymoor over the Sammamish Plateau to the Snoqualmie Valley, and back via Union Hill and Redmond Ridge.  Two-and-a half good climbs, two fast descents, assorted rollers, and a long flat run through the fields and along the river from Fall City to Ames Lake Road.  Riders climb and descend at their own pace.  Please be ready to ride 10 minutes before start time so we can have the safety talk and get on the road.

A Ride With GPS route map with cue sheet is at the link.  If you want a cue sheet, please print it.  Bring ID, spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats, and have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails.  If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders.  Fenders with long mudflaps show that you care.

No formal food stop, but we'll pause at the Carnation Starbucks for relief and refreshment along the way.  Porta-pot but no water at the start.  Water and restrooms at Beaver Lake/Mile 10, Carnation/Mile 28.7, and Redmond Ridge Park/Mile 44.5.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page.  NOTE:  I will close registration at 7 AM on ride day so I can print the waiver.  If you find registration closed, come to the start and sign in there.

The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride and the voicemail will not be checked.  If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criteria, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, at least two hours prior and not go to the start.  Please check here before leaving for the ride.

Comments

The current forecast shows rain in the Valley for the time we'll be there.  I'm not up for cold and wet today, so I am cancelling this ride.  Regrets.
