How do you start your week?  I start mine with a nice early morning bike ride to somewhere for a good cup of coffee.

This Monday we will leave Auburn's Outlet Collection Mall and ride north on the Interurban Trail.  After 5 miles we will jump onto Frager Road.  A very low traffic, beautiful, scenic back road that follows the winding Green River.  We will continue north to Tukwila and loop around Bullwinkles picking up the Interurban Trail again and head south to our rest stop at Panera Bread in Kent Station.  After a nice 20 minute break we will continue south on Interurban for about 1 1/2 miles before turning off the trail again and onto Green Valley Road.  This is another beautiful low traffic road that also follows the Green River.  Green Valley Road will bring us into the town of Auburn.  We will cruise through the streets of Auburn and back to our start location in the mall parking lot.

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the ride start at 8 AM so you can get your bike and yourself ready and hear the S.M.A.R.T. talk (safety briefing).

Restrooms are at the start inside the Walmart store.

New riders are welcome, but please review link below. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).

Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanical issues so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet.

Please register for the ride by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, click the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save.  By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register."

Sue this is Rod Braunagel trail on north bound on inter urban is closed where cross trail to Green river trail meets A good detour is left at 212 th then right on 76th continue on 4 th to Panera bread

Thank you Rod for the update.  The trail was fine when I rode it last week.  So much road and it appears trail work too this summer!  It's hard to keep up.  I will make the appropriate adjustment to the route.  Again, thank you Rodney!
