Lake Sammamish Loop- Vigorous Workout

  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Please join me for a morning vigorous work out around Lake Sammamish.  

Pace: Pace will attain vigorous after starting off more slowly to get the legs warmed up. On bike paths bike speed limits will be respected.  

Weather: Showers will result in a ride cancellation and the ride leader will post this information at least two hours before the start of the ride in the Comments section. If showers start after that, the ride could still be cancelled at the start as well.

Regroup/ Rest Stops/ Snack Stop: This ride will take somewhat more than an hour and is designed to get the heart rate up.  No extended rest stops.  No snack stop.  We will regroup at stop lights, major intersections, turns, the top of the hills and as is necessary.   

Pace line: No pace lining please.  You will be requested to maintain a bike length between riders.  

Mechanical issues: You should be prepared to fix a flat tire, with tools, tubes and the ability to change the tire yourself. The group will generally not stop for repairs.

Registration: Please sign the electronic waiver above. Use the "Register Now" button, which will only be available after you log in

Prompt departure: Please show up to the ride start at least 20 minutes early, so we can do the safety briefing and start the ride promptly at 9:30am.
