"Secant, tangent, cosine, sine! 3.14159!" It's Pi Day 2018, so let's ride some circles to Snohomish and have pie. This is a mostly rural figure-8 ramble. We start with a warm-up southbound on the Sammamish River Trail, then climb up and over Hollywood Hill to Paradise Lake, Maltby, Monroe, and Snohomish. Return via Broadway, Maltby, and Bostian Road. Please be ready to ride 15 minutes before start time so we can have the safety talk and get on the road.
We'll stop for pie (and soup or sandwich or whatever) at the Snohomish Pie Company. Restrooms and water at the start, and along the way at Lewis Street Park/Mile 27.3; Snohomish/Mlle 36.2; and Maltby Community Park/Mile 43.9.
A Ride With GPS route map with cue sheet is at the link. If you want a cue sheet, please print it. Bring spare tube, tools, patch kit, and skills to fix flats, and have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders. Fenders with long mudflaps show that you care.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. Note that this on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet.
The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride. If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criteria, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior and not go to the start. Ice or snow or very low temperatures also cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.

Rain today--no soggy pie for me
The rain won't let up enough for this ride to be fun. Cancelled. Regrets. I'll just have to drive to Metropolitan Market for some nice Whidbey Pie, for consolation.
didn't get your message in
didn't get your message in time so I rode most of the route myself under cloudy/partly cloudy skies and then heavy rain after I was done. Can't ever tell what is going to do.
