A mostly rural loop ride out of Marymoor over the Sammamish Plateau to the Snoqualmie Valley, and back via Union Hill and Redmond Ridge. Two-and-a half good climbs, two fast descents, assorted rollers, and a long flat run through the fields and along the river from Fall City to Ames Lake Road. Please be ready to ride 15 minutes before start time so we can have the safety talk and get on the road.
A Ride With GPS route map with cue sheet is at the link. If you want a cue sheet, please print it. Bring spare tube, tools, patch kit, and skills to fix flats, and have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders. Fenders with long mudflaps show that you care.
No formal food stop, but we'll pause at the Carnation Starbucks for relief and refreshment along the way. Porta-pot but no water at the start. Water and restrooms at Beaver Lake/Mile 10, Carnation/Mile 28.7, and Redmond Ridge Park/Mile 44.5.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. Note that this RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account. If you don't have one and/or don't want one, come to the ride anyway and just sign the waiver/attendee sheet. All are welcome.
If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criteria on the morning of the ride, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior. Ice or snow also cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.
