Ride the Point 2017

Ride the hidden, unridden, and forbidden Point Loma in the 5th Annual Jim Krause Memorial Charity Bicycle Ride on November 11, 2017 to support pancreatic cancer research. The ride has 8/25/62 mile distances to accommodate different levels of bicycling experience. The 8 mile Family Ride is a relatively flat course on bike paths along beautiful San Diego Bay and is perfect for cruisers, beginning riders, challenged athletes, and families. The 25 mile Enthusiast Ride and 62 mile Metric Century are street rides with exclusive routes and challenging climbs around Cabrillo National Monument, Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Mission Bay, Mission Valley, and Mission Gorge. The ride includes “King & Queen of the Mountain” time trials from the Point Loma tide pools. The public is invited to the free healthy lifestyle expo at Oggi’s Liberty Station from 9 am until 2 pm with local vendors, music, and refreshments.
The popular Stay & Play package include 2 nights stay at the Bay Club Hotel on Shelter Island overlooking San Diego Bay. The package includes free airport shuttle, free parking, free WIFI, and a VIP rider registration.
