A rural ramble from just south of Issaquah into southern King County, passing through Ravensdale, Kanaskat, Cumberland, Covington, and Maple Valley.  Many rollers and short climbs.  Longer climbs out of the Cedar River crossing at Landsburg, and out of the Green River valley on 218th.  Please be at the start and ready to ride by 8:15 AM so we can have the safety talk and get on the road.

Pit toilets but no water at the start.  Bathrooms and water at Ravensdale Park/Mile 16, Nolte State Park/Mile 29, and Covington Starbucks/Mile 50.2. There's no formal lunch stop, but we'll pause at the Starbucks long enough for a short eat-it-and-beat-it.

A Ride With GPS route map and cue sheet are at the link.  If you want a cue sheet, please print one.  Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and a plan for rescue should you have a serious mechanical failure.  If roads are wet, bare tires are a safety issue so come with real fenders and a long mudflap in back.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page.  Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the contact information, and click on Save.  By doing this you will save time at the ride start.  Note that this on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet.

Directions to the start:  From I-90 Exit 17 in Issaquah, turn right/south on Front Street and go 2.3 miles to Squak Valley Park on the right.  Look for the pit toilet building and the colorful play structure.

The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride.  If the weather meets the showers-cancel threshold, I will post a cancellation notice in the Comments block below at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.
