Take a ferry from Edmonds to Kingston and ride Cascade Bicycle Club's Kitsap Color Classic event route, plus the Point No Point Lighthouse and a stop at Chief Seattle's Grave in Suquamish.  Mostly rural roads with a short but truly fierce climb up the Cliffside Road wall, some less-fierce climbs like Little Boston Road, and a lot of rollers-with-attitude. The pace is moderate on flat roads with climbs and descents at each rider's pace.

A Ride With GPS route with cue sheet is at the Link, below.  No cue sheets will be available at the start.  If you want one, please print your own.

Restrooms and water are at the start; at Point Gamble/Mile 29; and at Poulsbo/Mile 39.8.  There is no formal lunch stop, so carry food for this distance and elevation gain.  Bring equipment and know-how to handle flats or minor mechanicals, and have a phone and a plan for rescue in case of bike failure.  If roads are wet, bare tires are a safety issue so come with real fenders and a long mudflap in back.

Meet at the passenger terminal entrance to the Edmonds ferry dock no later than 7:15 AM to board the 7:55 AM run to Kingston.  There is no dedicated ferry parking in Edmonds, so find a spot on a street and ride to the ferry terminal.  Avoid areas in the town core with limited-time parking.  You can also meet us in Kingston, up the hill from the ferry dock.  If you want to do that, please let me know by telephone so we'll be watching for you.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page.  Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the telephone information, and click on Save.  This will save time at the ride start.  Note that this RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account.  If you don't have one and/or don't want one, come to the ride anyway and just sign the waiver/attendee sheet.  All are welcome.

The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride.  If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criterion, we will post a ride cancellation notice in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior.  Check here before leaving for the ferry.

If you have a pink jersey, Cascade or otherwise, feel free to wear it.  If not, please come anyway.  We can make it the Kitsap Color Contrast route!
