KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
Ride south from Marymoor Park to Issaquah, up the Highlands and across the plateau, and down to Fall City. Then back up Duthie Hill Road to Beaver Lake and Marymoor. Two big climbs, two lesser but still notable climbs, and a bunch of rollers.
Please be at the start and ready to ride by 8:15 AM so we can have the safety talk and get on the road.
Water and public bathrooms are at the start, at Lower Beaver Lake/Mile 18, and at Beaver Lake Park/Mile 37.2. No formal lunch stop, so carry food for this distance and elevation gain.
A Ride With GPS route map and cue sheet are at the link. If you want a cue sheet, please print one. Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and have a plan for rescue should your bike fail. If roads are wet, bare tires are a safety issue so come with real fenders and a long mudflap in back.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the contact information, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. Note that this on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet.
The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride. If the weather meets the showers-cancel threshold, I will post a cancellation notice in the Comments block below at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.
