Invitation: Come and check out the the beauty of Snohomish County this fall; we will cover pretty much every corner! Routes start around 35 miles at the beginning of each month and increase to about 50 at the end of each month.
Today's Route: Today's route is a favorite rural route towards and around Lake Roesiger that was rained out last week. The rest stop is at the Lake Roesiger Store. We have to support this facility in the middle of nowhere; restrooms are available with purchase only (or $1).
Where to find us: !!PLEASE NOTE!!! Google maps will take you too far south (near the Elementary School). Enter the park at the light with Wales St). We will meet near the restrooms.
Paces: Steady (12-14 mi/h), Moderate (14-16 mi/h) and Brisk (16-18 mi/h). If you are new to the Free Group Rides, please read an introduction at the top of this page. Cue sheets are not provided; please print your own copy.
Registration: Your registration on this website is appreciated; all you'll have to do at the start of the ride is check off your name. You don't need to be a member of the club, but you do have to create an account. If you have any questions about this process, just contact the series director.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup occasionally. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 7:00 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.

Vigorous Pace today!
Great news: Today we will have a Vigorous pace! The pool of vigorous RLs is small, so this pace will only be available when we have two RLs to help lead it.
Want to ride Vigorous and Register?
If you want to register, there is no vigorous pace listed. No worries, just register with any pace and check your name off on Saturday on the Vigorous/purple clip board. Next week it's going to be available!
Let's go!
Let's go for it! Aiming for the percentage of dry clouds this morning.
Ride Leaders are allowed to call it quits if steady rain presents. They will have short cut information too.
Long fenders (almost to the ground) are mandatory - it prevents the person behind you to get sprayed in the face.
RL's please read email
Ride Leaders, please check your email
