Westlake Protected Bike Lane Opening Celebration

The time has come to celebrate the opening of Seattle's newest protected bike lane — a 1.2 mile stretch along Westlake connecting northern neighborhoods with South Lake Union.
Families, commuters and all who bike can join in festivities including games, refreshments and a raffle with local business giveaways at Lake Union Park. Director of Transportation Scott Kubly will lead a ride along Westlake.
The party takes place Thursday, Sept. 15, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Arrive by 5:30 p.m. to catch the speakers and bike ride.
