This ride combines the scenic natural beauty of Seattle with some of the more gritty working areas.

We will ride from Mount Baker Beach Park (Car Park) along Lake Washington Boulevard, taking in the switchback in Coleman Park then continuing via Leschi and Madrona, Madison Park and up through the Arboretum. We join the Burke Gilman trail and continue to Fremont Bridge. We ride via the Elliott Bay Trail taking in the harbor view. After passing the Sculpture Park we make our way past Pioneer Square along First Ave.  We'll head east up S Jackson then cut through Chinatown to S Dearborn, then to Georgetown, partly along a newish bike trail that parallels the Light Rail line.  After brunch at the Hangar Cafe we'll right up Lucile and Beacon Hill before going  downhill on Cheasty and  back to the starting point.

If rain is forecast for the start time the ride leader will not be at the start, and a cancellation notice will be posted here no later than 8:00 a.m. day of ride.

You can save time at the start by registering in advance. Make sure you are logged into your CBC account, and on this page click on register, check the waiver box, and you are good to go. You do not need to un-register if you don't make it to the ride.
