  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

EAstside Ride The Hill DREAM rides are focused on developing stronger riders by training on hills or using intervals (or both :). This week we are backing off the distance a little bit but still riding a number of challenging hills for a total of 6000ft of climbing.

We will regroup at the top of all hills, and at major turns. An effort will be made to accommodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own.

Showers cancel this ride. Check this website for weather updates if the weather looks iffy. If the ride is cancelled the ride leader will post at comment at least two hours in advance.   If that happens, the ride leader will not be at the start.   Please bring fenders if the roads are wet.   We may slow down to a vigorous pace if the ride leader (and others) need to bring heavier rain bikes.

We will plan on two stops, one at a Safeway in Issaquah, and one at a QFC in Bellevue.
