The Heroes' Challenge 24.2 grueling mile Bike Race

It is time for a great bike race with a great cause!  “The Heroes’ Challenge” is a grueling 24-mile bicycle road race in the foothills outside Washougal, WA at 7am on the morning of the 4th of July.  This is a course promised to challenge!  A gentleman who coordinates Iron Man training rides uses this course to help fellow competitors get in shape, so this road race is meant to make the best sweat.

This is an annual fundraiser to support services for past and present military members and their families in Southwest Washington.  There are 3 separate Heroes’ Challenge events: a Bike Race at 7am, a ½-marathon at 8:30am, and a 5K Fun Run at 9:30am.  Each event has a registration fee of $25.00 if registered by July 3, and an official Heroes’ Challenge dog tag if registered on line by June 15.  To register and for more details go to www.BackaHero.Today and like us on facebook: www.facebook.com/4thofJulyHeroesChallenge
