Ride Description:
EAstside Ride The Hill DREAM rides are focused on developing stronger riders by training on hills or using intervals (or both :). Because the weather is so changeable I am posting a fair-weather route and a rainy-weather route. Both routes are about 100 miles long with 5000 ft of elevation gain. The fair-weather route takes us down to Ravensdale, Black Diamond, the Green River Gorge and ends up with a loop around Mercer Island. The rainy-weather route stays closer to the start and has a similar distance and elevation gain.
Showers cancel this ride. Check this website for weather updates if the weather looks iffy. If the ride is cancelled due to rain I will post a notice to the comments section of this event at least two hours in advance and I will not be at the starting location. Please bring fenders if the roads are wet.
We will regroup At the top of all hills, and at major turns. An effort will be made to accommodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own.
I am posting this ride at a strenuous pace but if the roads are wet or rain is threatened we may slow the pace down to accommodate people with heavier rain bikes.

Weather Update
As of now, it is not raining at my house, so the ride is ON. It is likely we will get hit by rain later on, so we will ride our rain route. I am planning on brining a rain jacket and myrain bike.
