Find a Biking Buddy this May

Happy May Day and welcome to Biking Month!  What better way to start the month than to find some Biking Buddies.  Cascade Bicycle Club has some awesome events for the month of May and ongoing ways to rides in groups.  Still, it’s great to find one or two folks in your ‘hood or that ride at your own pace that you can call at a moment’s notice, or make plans with to saddle up and hit the trails.  I’m talkin’ one-on-one, side-by-side juicy conversation while your wheels are spinning, perhaps a commute partner, or just someone to motivate you to push yourself just a bit further down the road.

Come meet some folks who could fit that bill.  If we have 20 or more people RSVP for this event, we’ll meet at Miir in Fremont.  I’ll have name tags for folks to write their name, the area or neighborhood where they live, and the pace at which they ride.  Then we can mingle and find like-minded Biking Buddies.  I figure a minimum of 20 attendees should be the critical mass needed to represent a range of places and paces of riders.  Of course, the more the merrier.  So come join us!

Miir serves beer, coffee and tea and is just off the Burke Gilman trail on Stone Way.  Bike on over after work.  I'll try to grab a table outside, but look for the Biking Buddies sign if those are taken.
