This tour is different from other Cascade Club Tours. While we will provide routes, SAG support and a rest stop with snacks and lunch, we will not provide accommodations. In this way, we are able to offer an introductory touring opportunity.
So come along and enjoy a fun long weekend in Lake Chelan!
Come join us for a weekend of riding around beautiful Lake Chelan. This will be a fun way to start the season with some great rides along the lake, through vineyards and orchards, and in the surrounding canyons. Multiple route distances will be offered each day ranging from 37 miles with an elevation gain of 2,800 feet to 56 miles with 5,000 feet of climbing and will include SAG support with a scheduled food stop during the rides. These rides will cover much of the route used for the Lake Chelan Century Challenge held in late summer, including the signature climb up McNeil Canyon, so use this weekend to test your fitness for one of the most challenging century rides in Washington.
Rides each day will start at Don Morse Park in downtown Chelan with a group briefing. You are not required to ride each day.
The charge per rider for the weekend is for the three day ride support. Lunch and snacks are provided each day of the ride. Accommodations and all other meals are for riders to organize.
Post ride you’ll have the chance to visit a local brewhouse and a winery for tastings and meals.

Ride With GPS maps
Friday | Manson Loop
The start line will open at 7:00 a.m. for the first wave of riders. Please check your registration details to see which arrival time you have selected.
This is a challenging but scenic ride through vineyards and orchards on the north side of Lake Chelan above the town of Manson, with options ranging from 37 to 42 miles. For those interested in more climbing, we will include three major hills including a beautiful ride up to Echo Valley, the local ski hill, for a total elevation gain of 3,800 feet. Optional ice cream/pie stop at Blueberry Hills Farm Restaurant.
Saturday | McNeil Canyon
The highlight of this route is the ascent of McNeil Canyon, a 6-mile climb from the Columbia River rising to 3,100 feet, followed by a ride down the Columbia River for a pie stop at Lone Pine Bakery. There are various routes. You can choose 40 or 56 miles with an elevation gain of 5,100 feet. There will also be a shorter alternative for those who would prefer to avoid McNeil Canyon.
Sunday | Navarre Coulee
This is a 50-mile loop that includes two significant climbs and a total elevation gain of 2,900 feet. Starting in Chelan, we will ride up Knapp Coulee and then descend down to the Columbia River. The route then climbs back up Navarre Coulee where we will have some spectacular views of Lake Chelan, then down to Lake Chelan State Park for a rest stop. We will then continue up lake as far as the road is paved, turning around at 25 Mile State Park. The route back will follow the lake shore to Chelan. A shorter route of 30 miles is also available.
