I hope everybody is ready for STP. The weatherman says it is going to be toasty, especially when we go down to Columbia River on Sunday.
We all know how important food and water are for our extended activity, but not many are aware of 'electrolyte' in your body, especially in a high temperture.
If you know what works for you, that is great.
If you have never used any electrolyte drink or pills, you may want to bring a sack of sea salt or something that wouldn't bother your stomach. You really need it. No matter how much you maintain your food intake and water, if your electrolyte level in your body is out of wack, it is not fun. You can google 'salt stick' which works for many without much issue, if you want to try it, it is available at REI where you pick up your packet. (Although no one recommend that you try something new just 3 days before any event)
In any case, have a wonderful ride everyone and see you all down in Portland!
