Bike-n-Brews El Norte
For event season 2016 Bike-n-Brews El Norte will not be an event Offered by Cascade. Please see our Registration Schedule for our other events.
Bike-n-Brews El Norte is a relaxed urban event for recreational cyclists who appreciate flat city riding and tipping back local craft beers.
El Norte draws a truly eclectic mix of riders—young and old, lycra and jeans, fixies and carbon road bikes.
The main 38-mile route begins and ends at scenic Myrtle Edwards Park near Downtown Seattle. Bike-n-Brewers are taken on an out-and-back ride to Kenmore, utilizing the Elliott Bay, Ship Canal and Burke-Gilman trails, and lightly traveled roads in between trails. For an extra challenge, riders can add on a 10-mile loop through Magnolia.
Registered riders will receive a Bike-n-Brews souvenir and beverage tickets good for beer at both the midpoint and finish line. The mid-point rest stop will be at 192 Brewing Company in Kenmore. Riders can use a beer ticket here and fuel up on soft drinks and ride snacks. Hot food will be available for purchase. The Myrtle Edwards Finish Line Festival location overlooks beautiful Elliott Bay, featuring music and beer from both Fremont Brewing and Peddler Brewing companies, and cider from Schilling Cider!
