This Vigorous ride heads north from Log Boom Park into Snohomish county, with a lunch stop en route. Restrooms at the start.

Route may be shortened or changed if weather is bad. If in doubt, check here for cancellation due to weather on the morning of the ride.

The route will be posted in the comments below by Sunday afternoon.

Comments

The weather forecast does not look good, so this route is tentative.  It has lots of bailout options if weather turns worse.  It is also possible we will do a shorter loop through Edmonds.

Ride may be cancelled if the windstorm anticpated for Saturday night leaves too much debris on the roads for safe riding, or otherwise causes chaos that interferes with safety.  In a departure from our usual procedure, check here Monday at 8 am for a notice that the ride is on - consider the ride cancelled if I don't post that it is happening.  This is because of the possible difficulty of posting a cancellation in the event of widespread or prolonged loss of power.  Thanks for your understanding.

There is a forecast of thunderstorms for midday, and showers throughout the day.  Considered in combination with the amount of debris I saw yesterday on the roads and shoulders, reasonable caution requires cancellation.  See you next Monday.
