This ride starts in Woodinville and makes a big loop around the Eastside, circling Lake Samammish and half of Lake Washington.  The route includes some long flat stretches that will allow us to stretch our legs and well as some substantial hills to build strength.  We also circle most of Mercer Island, which provides a long stretch of winding roadway with little traffic and no traffic lights or stop signs.

We will plan on a couple of stops at local parks for bathroom breaks and to refill water bottles.

We will regroup at the top of all hills, and at major turns. An effort will be made to accommodate people with a range of abilities, but riders who are significantly off the group pace should come prepared to finish the ride on their own.

Showers cancel. Check this website for weather updates if the weather looks iffy. Please bring fenders if the roads are wet. If the ride is cancelled the ride leader will post a notice in the comments section below at least two hours in advance. If that happens the ride leader will not be at the start.

GPS routes and cue sheets are available through the Ride With GPS link below.

Comments

As of 6AM it is raining at my house.  The forecast still looks good, so I am going to assume the rain is going to stop by 8:00.  I'll make a final call on whether to ride at the start.  Please bring rain bikes or fenders.
