Join us for a ride from Edmonds Esperance Park on a 34 mile route at a Moderate pace (14-16 mph on the flats with no wind). This ride will show off back roads and trails through Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, Everett and scenic views of the Edmonds waterfront, with a coffee/lunch stop in the Edmonds bowl.

Let's meet at Esperance Park on 224th St SW, and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.

Our start point at Esperance Park has ample parking as well as a port-o-potty. We will stop at Thornton Sullivan (Silver Lake) Park for restrooms/water at mile 14.5. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Cafe Louvre in the Edmonds bowl at mile 29.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Fenders: If rain is possible or the roads are wet please be considerate of other riders' comfort and safety by using full fenders with long, stable mud flaps (ideally 2" and a maximum of 4" from the ground). You may still ride without such long fenders and flaps, but if it's wet you will need to ride at the back of the group (behind all bikes with better fenders).

We hope you can join us!
