Come and join us for an evening ride from mid April through August. The routes are about 23-28 miles and check out pretty places and views throughout Everett, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Snohomish Valley, Mukilteo and Edmonds. They are both urban and rural in character.
Directions to the start: Take exit #186 from I-5. Head east 2.6 miles. Turn left onto 39th Ave SE. At the end of the road is the Archbishop Thomas Murphy High School. We meet in the parking lot near the gate.
Route: After a quick dip into the valley, we climb Hwy 9, explore a wetland (some hard packed gravel/boardwalk) and then we will celebrate the Summer Solstice with rest stop at the Spotted Cow in Mill Creek (coffee, ice cream).
Note that there are two routes: The Steady group will ride 20.6 miles wiht about 1100ft elevation. The Moderate/Brisk groups will ride 23.2 miles with 1270 ft elevation.
Cue sheets are not provided at the start - please print your own copy.
Registration: Your registration on this website is much appreciated. Sign in to your (free) account, then register.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the chosen pace. We regroup occasionally. There is no scheduled rest stop. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 4:00 pm, it will be posted in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.

Comments
Slight change in the route
Someone who is more observant that I am, informed me that we are not allowed to ride on the boardwalk in Mill Creek. Therefore the route is changed to ride on the Bothell-Everett Hwy and make a left turn on 164th St (we have to get some miles/elevation in). Your RL will likely take the lane; please follow their lead.
