Join me for a scenic ride in the Enumclaw-Ravensdale countryside. We will roll out of Enumclaw High School and travel along Mud Mountain Rd. before heading north through Cumberland, Kanaskat, Ravensdale and Black Diamond. After a rest/food stop at the Black Diamond Bakery, we will enjoy the views along the Green River Gorge and then roll back into Enumclaw. Black Diamond Bakery stop is not until mile 33, but we will take a short break at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park (mile 16.5).
Meet in the Enumclaw High School Parking lot off of Warner Ave. No restrooms at the start, but we will stop at a porta-potty within the first mile. Please be courteous to your fellow riders and arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start to prepare your bike, listen to the ride briefing and allow us to leave on time. Bring all tools and tubes needed to fix a flat.
Cue sheets will not be provided, please print one if desired. Regroups will be as needed and at the top of major hills.
If you are new to group riding, please review the Cascade newcomer info: http://www.cascade.org/welcome-newcomers.
Preregistration is available and saves you time at the start by not having to fill out the waiver form, simply check your name off when you arrive at the ride. Sign in with your Cascade user account, click on the register button and fill out the information. Remember to save.
In the event of a cancellation, Ride Leader will post a cancellation in the comments section two hours prior to the start. Ride Leader will not be at the start if cancelled.
