Join us for a social and hilly ride on Eastside bike friendly roads and trails. This is a 28.6 mile route through Kirkland, Bothell, Woodinville, and Redmond with a restroom stop at 7.8 mi (Wilmot Gateway Park) and a food stop at 16 mi (Bella Bottega). There are hills, but we climb them at our own pace and always regroup at the top. Restrooms are not available at the start, but we will stop for restrooms at Juanita Beach Park @ 2.5 miles. Parking is limited at Heritage Park but there is ample room on Waverly Way adjacent to the park.
Meet at Heritage Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. If you wish to join along the route, please contact us to arrange a meeting point where we can stop and give you the safety briefing.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
