Join us for a ride from Wayne Park Bothell on a 21 mile route at leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH!
This fun exercise route takes low traffic Woodinville roads to the Redmond Town Center for a coffee break. Plan on socializing for 30 minutes and bring cash or credit card to purchase food/drink. A cable lock will come in handy to secure your bike. We will return on the scenic Sammamish River Trail. The highlight of the ride will be a visit to Molbaks Nursery in Woodinville to view the Poinsettias.
Let's meet at the Wayne Park Bothell and please be ready to ride at 11:00AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.
Restrooms (portable toilet) are available at the start near the parking lot. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water in 1/4 mile at Blyth Park. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks at mile 10.6.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Please bring a full water bottle and some snacks. Helmets are required!
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Pie
I've got a pecan pie to share with riders at the Starbucks rest stop.
Too Late.
Once again I'll be missing this ride I won't make the briefing in time. Be safe out there.
Jasmina
Thanks for letting me know what happened to you, Jasmina. The weather was great and we had a wonderful ride. It's important to layer up during the winter to stay warm. See you on another ride.
And that pie was DELICIOUS.
