Join us for a ride from Newport Hills Park on a 27.3 mile route at Moderate pace (14-16MPH)!
We will ride through some Newcastle neighborhoods on our way to beautiful May Valley Road before stopping at Issaquah Coffee for refreshments. On the way back, we will climb 164th (known as Fisher Hill) and reward ourself with a fun, mostly downhill ride back to the start.
Let's meet at the Newcastle Park and please be ready to ride at 11am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms at mile 9.7 (Squak Mountain). (OPTIONAL) We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Issaquah Coffee at mile 15.9.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

See you on Sunday!
Hopefully I'll arrive at the correct time this time, Alan! LOL
More milage
Good morning I really like these rides but I wish we could add some more miles. Something around 50 to 60 please.
Longer Rides
Hi, Jeff. If you aren't seeing the kind of rides you like, you should consider becoming a ride leader. Then you could post 50-60 mile rides!
See you tomorrow
I plan to ride my bike 18 miles from Sammamish to the start and to leave the group at the Coffee Shop. If I get lost on the way to the start, leave without me :)
