Join us for a low mileage high spirits ride from Cascade Bicycle Club to Madison Valley on a 14.3 mile route at a steady pace of 12-14 mph! Although we will aim to ride at this pace, this is a no-drop ride and we will adjust our pace to that of the slowest rider to ensure that no-one is pushed beyond their limits.
You can expect a socially oriented, beginner friendly ride with friendly supportive riders. We would love to have you along!
Let's meet at the Cascade Bicycle Club at 9:30 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.
Restrooms are available at the start of the ride at Cascade Bicycle Club and at the halfway point at Belle Epicurean Bakery at mile 7.7 should you need them.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. Please also bring a face mask and your vaccination card if you plan on entering the bakery/coffee shop in Madison Valley.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
