Join us for a 39.5-mile ride from Willis Tucker Park at a Moderate pace (14-16 mph on the flats.)

This route takes us up the west side of the Snohomish River Valley to Everett, then down the other side of the valley to Snohomish for a bakery stop followed by some hilly meandering south and west back to the start.

Let's meet at the front lot of the park and, please, be prepared to start at 8:55 a.m. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.

Restrooms are available at the start, but drinking water is not so, please, come prepared with full bottles. We will stop at the Bakery at 1st and Union in Snohomish at mile point 20 for a quick snack/water and bathrooms.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Comments

The forecast/radar is calling for steady rain through much of the ride -- especially the hilly second half. In addition, rising wind speeds are likely to bring down more leaves/debris on rural roads that lack shoulders.
