Join us for a ride from Matthews Beach Park across the 520 Bridge to Medina and back on a 24 mile route at a Steady Pace, 12-14 MPH.
We meet at the Matthews Beach parking lot. Please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. Restrooms and water are available at the start as well as at Medina Beach Park, roughly halfway along the route. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. If the roads are wet, as is common this time of the year, please have fenders on your bike or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
However, if weather conditions meet the cancellation criterion listed above, if there are hazardous riding conditions, or if there are other unexpected events that cause the ride to be canceled, I will notify all who have registered via email and will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start. If that's the case, I won't be at the start.
We hope you can join us!
