Join us for a ride from Tolt River-John MacDonald Park on a 19.3 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 MPH)!

This ride is ideal for beginners!  It's not very hilly, and it takes place on mostly quiet rural roads.

Let's meet at Tolt River-John MacDonald Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.

Restrooms are available at the start, but there is no water, so please fill your water bottles before the ride. We’ll also stop at Jubilee Farm, towards the end of the ride, for the ride leader's wife's homemade cookies, and a restroom break.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!

Ride leader mentoring is available for this ride.  If you're interested, please contact the ride leader!

According to the King County Website, the Snoqualmie River near Carnation at 11:45 PM, 10/29/2021 was at 54.06'

According to Snohomish County's website, over 54' and the Snoqualmie River will flood much of the farm land and several roads from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall.

I'll check again in the morning, but this is not sounding good.

Hey Shaun-

I'll bring a snorkel. I've got a couple extras laying around I'll bring those as well if I can find them.

I was wondering what effect the "atmospheric river" of rain would have...it's that time of year for the valley.

:(
