Join us for a ride from Redmond on an 23.9 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 MPH)!

This ride is ideal for beginners!  There is one challenging hill, and the ride takes place in and around Redmond, Kirkland and Woodinville on mostly quiet streets and multi-use trails.

Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trail Parking lot, and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

This parking lot is next-door to the parking lot for Whole Foods. See this image for details.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.

There is a portable restroom available at the start, but no water. There are a couple restrooms along the way, and we will stop for restrooms and water at mile 14.4 (Wilmot Gateway Park), and there will be homemade cookies!

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Ride Leader mentoring is available for this ride.  Please contact Shaun if you are interested.

We hope you can join us!

Nobody should feel like they have to ride in unpleasant weather, but I promise I will be there!
