Join us for a ride from Auburn on a 26 mile route at a steady pace from 12-14mph!
January of 2018 I went on my first Group Ride with Cascade Bicycle Club. It was a New Years ride from Auburn to Kent for coffee. I met amazing people whom I then joined for many more rides and adventures. They taught me all I know about leading rides and the magic of riding bicycles together. That started my adventure with Cascade Group rides and with this ride I am closing the chapter for now. My family and I are moving out of Western Washington and what better way to end this chapter than how it started. Please join me in a fun social ride to commemorate all the rides and all the fun!!
Let's meet at the northwest back corner of the Regal Cinemas parking lot and please be ready to ride at 9:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. Please wear layers and be ready for this wonderful fall weather and all it can hand out to us.
Restrooms are available at the start inside of the Walmart. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 13. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Dilettante at mile 17.5.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

You'll be missed!
Thanks for being a Cascade rider and leader. You made a difference. Safe travels and good luck in your new place.
Say it isn't so!!
Ahh, Marcia, you will be sorely missed! I'm sure this is a good thing for your family, or you wouldn't be doing it. However, your biking family is sad. See you on Saturday to wish you blessings, safety and peace.
