Join us for a ride from Madrona Park on a 21 mile route at steady pace, 12 to 14 mph!
We will start with a ride through the beautiful Arboretum, continuing onto the 520 Bridge Trail across Lake Washington. Then we will turn south heading through downtown Bellevue for a stop at the Belle French Bakery. We will continue south to the I90 trail to Mercer Island, crossing the lake again before returning to Madrona Park.
Let's meet at Madrona Park (by the restrooms). Parking is available in the lot just south of the park. Please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 8.4 (Medina Beach Park), and 14.5 (Enatai Park). We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Belle French Bakery at mile 10.4.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
