Join us for a ride from Auburn on a 45.9-mile route at a steady pace (12-14 MPH)!
We will ride through scenic areas southeast of Auburn, skirting Lake Tapps and taking in much of the Foothills Trail, with a lunch stop in Buckley at Wally's Drive-In.
Let's meet in the parking lot at Roegner Park in Auburn, and please be ready to ride at 10 a.m. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.
Restrooms and water are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms and water at mile 17. Our lunch stop is at mile 30.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. Bring hydration and snacks to sustain you till our lunch stop. If you would like a cue sheet, you may print one from the Ride with GPS file linked below.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

A couple of notes
Forecast looks promising for a great day! A couple of notes: 1) I updated the route on 9/20/21 with a slight change. If you downloaded it prior to that, you may want to re-download. 2) Parking at Roegner Park is a bit limited, but Mill Pond Park across the street (enter from Mill Pond Road) offers additional spaces, and you can follow the path from that lot to Oravetz Rd., where you'll see the entrance to Roegner Park across the street. We will meet at the designated spot, in Roegner Park, where there are restrooms.
