Join us for a ride from Gas Works on a 25 mile route at a Leisurely pace (10-12mph)!

We will take the Interurban Trail to Shoreline at 185th and cross to the wonderful downhill on Perkins Way to Lake Forest Park and then return to Gas Works on the Burke Gilman Trail.  We'll stop for sights along the way and lunch/snacks at Pfingst Animal Acres Park (3/8 mile from the Lake Forest Park shopping center).  After snacks we'll take a quick walk through the Lyon Creek Waterfront Reserve,  just off the Burke Gilman Trail and then pedal back the twelve miles to Gas Works.

Let's meet at the Gas Works Park parking lot  and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Bitter Lake Park (6 miles)  and after snacks Lake Forest Park shopping Center(12 miles).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
