Join us for a ride from Juanita Beach Park on a 39.8 mile route at a moderate pace (14-16 mph on the flats).

Ride Description: We will ride through Kirkland, Medina, Bellevue, and Beaux Arts and then around Mercer Island. We will return through Bellevue and Kirkland with a 2-mile section on the unpaved Eastrail. (formerly Kirkland Cross Corridor).

Start Time and Location: Let's meet at the Juanita Beach Park next to the bathrooms and please be ready to ride at 9:30 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Navigation: The planned route/cue sheet is at the link below. The goal is to stay together via regrouping as necessary, but we won’t be able to wait too long for anyone substantially off the pace.  Please bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own, as the ride becomes self-led for those ahead of or behind the group.

Restrooms: Restrooms and water are available at the start. If needed, we can stop at the restrooms at Bellevue Downtown Park at mile 10. We’ll stop for coffee/snacks at the Mercer Island Starbucks at mile 25.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
