We will meet at parking lot near the tennis courts on Mercer Island and Cycle ride to Issaquah via May Valley Rd and enjoy the countryside Lunch will be at Starbucks/Safeway. Return via Newport Way and will circle Mercer Island on the return to the start point. Maps and cue sheets will be available at the start point.

You are required to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. Unregister if you decide not to ride.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Clarification on meeting point

By "the parking lot near the tennis courts," do you mean the lot on 72nd Ave SE, which is just east of the courts?

Just asking, because the other parking lot on W. Mercer Way is also fairly close to the tennis courts, and is probably more widely known.

The parking lot is located along the extension of the I 90 trail. You can locate on map quest at :2030- 72nd Ave. SE. Please call if you need further clarification.

Thank you, Peter. In that case, the "Directions" interactive map on this page needs to be modified, because it's pointing to the lot on W. Mercer Way next to the I-90 on-ramp.

Construction detour & start point clarification

Due to a road closure on the SE 36th St. hill around Mile Point 29 we will stay on Newport Way to Factoria Blvd, then take Coal Creek Pkwy and 118th Ave SE to the I-90 trail. Please use this link for your updated RwGPS route map and cue sheet. It also shows the updated start point which is now at 2030 72nd Ave. S.E., Mercer Island.
